Welcome to LAN College Consulting ("we," "our," or "us"). We provide college search and admissions consulting services to students and families seeking guidance through the college admissions process.

By accessing or using our services—including consulting sessions, online materials, and communications (collectively, the "Service")—you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

Services Provided

LAN College Consulting offers personalized guidance, research assistance, and application strategy related to U.S. and international college admissions. We do not guarantee admission to any specific institution, scholarship, or outcome.

 

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or have the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian to use our services. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are either over 18 or using the service with parental consent.

  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful.

 

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate academic, personal, and financial information to help us tailor your consulting experience.

  • Attend scheduled meetings or notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

 

Payment Terms

LAN College Consulting operates on a flat-fee or hourly model, as outlined in your service agreement.

  • Payment is due as specified in your contract or invoice.

  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. See our Refund Policy.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be billed at the full session rate.

 

No Guarantee of Admissions

LAN College Consulting does not make any guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding admissions outcomes, financial aid awards, or scholarship offers.

 

Our role is to advise, guide, and support the applicant through the admissions process. Final decisions rest solely with the educational institutions.

 

Intellectual Property

All materials provided by LAN College Consulting, including reports, strategy documents, tools, and website content, are the intellectual property of LAN College Consulting and may not be shared, copied, distributed, or used for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

 

Confidentiality and Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your information. Personal data shared with us will only be used for the purpose of delivering our services and will not be sold or disclosed to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAN College Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

You agree that our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

 

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend service if:

  • You fail to pay required fees.

  • You engage in abusive, dishonest, or inappropriate behavior.

  • You violate any provision of these Terms.

 

Upon termination, you will remain responsible for any outstanding payments.

 

Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll notify you by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York.
