My Story

As a first-generation college student, I understand firsthand how overwhelming the college search process can feel—and the significance of making such a life-shaping decision. My own supportive and encouraging experience during the admissions journey inspired me to join the Admissions Office at my alma mater shortly after graduation. That role sparked a lifelong passion for helping students find the college that truly fits them.

Over time, my responsibilities grew to encompass all aspects of enrollment, including freshman, transfer, Division I athlete, and graduate admissions, as well as financial aid. This broader scope allowed me to positively impact a greater number of students and families.

My years as Dean of Enrollment became the foundation for a new chapter in my career—consulting with institutions across the country on how to more effectively recruit and enroll students who are the right fit for their campuses. Through Vice President roles at several diverse companies in the higher education space, I’ve gained deep insight into the admissions and enrollment practices of both small private colleges and large public universities, each with their own goals, mission statements, and levels of selectivity.

Along the way, I’ve built a vast network of relationships with campus leaders nationwide, including Vice Presidents of Enrollment, Presidents, and other senior executives. These extensive connections—combined with my insider knowledge of the industry—make LAN College Consulting a great partner in your family's college search process.
